Test Ansa before you publish

While your assistant is in draft, only you can chat with it.

Use the test chat

1. Open your Command centre.
2. Find the card called Ask followed by your assistant's name.
3. Ask what a customer would, for example "Do you deliver on Saturdays?"

You'll see exactly the answers visitors will get.

What to test

• Your ten most common questions, such as prices, hours, location, delivery and booking.
• Something you know isn't covered. Ansa should reply with your "don't know" message, not a guess, or offer to pass it to a person.
• Other languages your customers use.

If a test answer is wrong or missing

• Missing: add a Q&A pair or text snippet, then ask again.
• Wrong or out of date: see Fix a wrong or outdated answer.

Good to know

Test chats count towards your monthly answers (20 a month on Free is plenty for testing), but don't appear in Conversations or your stats.

When you're happy, turn on Publish in Deploy.
