Add text snippets
Add text snippets to Ansa: type in policies, delivery areas, opening hours, price lists and anything that isn't written down on your website.
Last updated
A text snippet is a note you write for Ansa, for anything that isn't on your website or in a document.
Add a snippet
- Open Knowledge and choose the Text snippet tab.
- Add a Title, for example "Delivery areas".
- Write the Text as you'd explain it to a new member of staff.
- Click Add snippet. Ansa uses it within seconds.
Good topics: delivery, returns and refunds, opening hours (including holidays), how to book or pay, short price lists.
Tips for clear snippets
- One topic per snippet, such as "Delivery" and "Returns" separately.
- State facts plainly. "We deliver in Lagos and Abuja. Delivery takes 2–3 working days and costs ₦2,500."
- Use your customers' words. If they say "shipping", mention shipping as well as delivery.
Edit or remove a snippet
In the Source library, click the pencil icon, make your changes and click Save changes. Ansa re-reads it when you save. To remove a snippet, click the bin icon and confirm with Delete.
For one exact answer to one exact question, use a Q&A pair.
