Plans and limits

Prices are in US dollars, with no extra charges. In Canada, prices are the same figures in Canadian dollars. Pay monthly, or once a year and save 20–25%. See your usage in Usage & plan.

The plans

• Free ($0): 20 answers a month, 1 MB of knowledge, up to 20 website pages per read, 5 documents, just you, 1 assistant.
• Starter ($25 a month): 500 answers a month, 5 MB of knowledge, up to 100 website pages per read, 20 documents, 3 team seats, 1 assistant.
• Pro ($89 a month): 2,000 answers a month, 20 MB of knowledge, up to 500 website pages per read, 50 documents, 10 team seats, 3 assistants, and you can remove “Powered by Ansa”.
• Business ($199 a month): 5,000 answers a month, 50 MB of knowledge, up to 1,000 website pages per read, 200 documents, 25 team seats, 10 assistants, and you can remove “Powered by Ansa”.

WhatsApp is included on Starter, Pro and Business (set it up). Slack is included on Business (set it up). Hand-off to a person is included on Starter, Pro and Business (how it works).

What counts as an answer

Every reply Ansa sends is one answer: on your website, chat link, WhatsApp or Slack, including "don't know" replies and your own tests. Your welcome message and suggested questions don't count.

When your answer allowance resets

At the start of each calendar month. The date is under Usage resets on in Usage & plan.

Other plan limits

• Knowledge size: how much text Ansa can hold from all your sources. A web page is tiny, so even 1 MB holds a lot.
• Website pages per read: the most pages Ansa reads from each website.
• Documents: how many files you can upload, up to 10 MB each.
• Team seats, including you: 1 seat on Free, 3 seats on Starter, 10 seats on Pro, 25 seats on Business. A pending invite uses a seat until it's accepted, revoked or expires. See Invite your team.
• Assistants, each with its own knowledge, look, chat link and WhatsApp number: 1 assistant on Free, 1 assistant on Starter, 3 assistants on Pro, 10 assistants on Business. See Run several assistants.

Answers, knowledge size and documents are shared by all your assistants.

Which plan is right for me?

• Trying it out? Free: 20 answers a month, no card needed.
• Small business? Starter: 500 answers a month for $25, 3 seats.
• Busy, or a big website? Pro (2,000 answers) or Business (5,000 answers). Both remove “Powered by Ansa”.
• Several brands or locations? Pro includes 3 assistants, Business 10 assistants.
