Customise your assistant
Customise your Ansa assistant: set its name, welcome message, “don’t know” message, contact link, tone, colours and suggested questions.
Last updated
Open Appearance, make changes, then click Save changes. Visitors see them straight away. Discard undoes unsaved changes.
Name & messages
- Assistant name: for example "Sunny" or your business name.
- Welcome message: the first thing visitors see.
- When Ansa doesn’t know: shown instead of a guess. Point people to you.
- Contact link: a button shown when Ansa can't help. A WhatsApp number (like
+234 803 123 4567), email address or website.
How your assistant should sound
- Short instructions: tone only, for example "Friendly and brief. Prices are in naira." Facts go in your knowledge.
- Suggested questions: up to 4 buttons visitors can tap.
Colour & theme
- Accent colour: a swatch, your own colour or a hex code like
#f5a85d. - Chat window theme: Light or Dark. Used unless you set a background colour.
- Background colour: optional. Pick a swatch or your own colour; text and bubbles adjust so they stay readable. Reset goes back to the theme.
- Show “Powered by Ansa”: can be turned off on the Pro and Business plans.
